Notice of upcoming road and pathway closure - May 12, 2025

The Town of Magrath has received notification from Cardston County regarding an important infrastructure project that will impact local traffic and pathways. Please note the following details about the upcoming road and pathway closures:
Closure Details:
• The road at the intersection of Township Road 55A (4th St East) and HWY 5 will be closed.
• The walking path at Range Road 221(our trail on the north end of Town at 4th St East) will also be closed for public safety during construction.
Important Dates:
• Closure Start Date: Monday, May 12, 2025
• Duration: The closures will remain in place throughout the summer. A reopening date will be announced when available.
These closures are necessary to complete vital infrastructure and safety upgrades. Detour routes will be clearly marked, and we kindly ask that all travelers plan, use alternate routes, and allow extra travel time when needed.

Notice: Weather permitting, the Town crew will burn the wood pile at the transfer station on Wednesday, November 26.
