New Public Health Measures

James Suffredine • May 5, 2021
The Town of Magrath asks that all residents and businesses within the Town follow the restrictions announced on May 4th. Magrath’s active case count spiked on Monday May 3rd to 20 active cases in our community. Being responsible, heeding the public health restrictions, and getting vaccinated when you have the opportunity is the best way for our local community and Alberta to overcome this pandemic.

Everyone is impacted and everyone is inconvenienced by these restrictions. None of this is enjoyable or fair for anyone, and everyone wants it to be over. Arguing about it is contagious but so is cooperation, kindness, and understanding. Together we can do this, and together we have to do this.

All other public health measures remain in effect.

Magrath Days represent a time where we all reflect about how our community is growing and to look hopefully into the future. This special video was created to commemorate that endless spirit. From our pioneering roots to the vibrant community we are today, this milestone is a tribute to the people, places, and stories that have shaped our town across generations. A place where kids can be kids. A place for learning, working, and thriving. A place where community comes first. Whether you were born here, moved here, or just love visiting, this is your story of growing with us too.
