Campground Update

The Magrath Campsite will be open to the public for camping as of June 8th. The bathrooms at the camp site will be opened and sanitized daily. However, in accordance with the Province’s guidance documents we will not be opening the camp kitchens or the pavilion unless that guidance is changed during the season. Regular campground prices will remain the same as last year, $25 per night for the powered and $15 per night for the unpowered sites. However, there will be an additional “covid fee" of $5 per night this season so the Town is able to cover the additional costs of maintenance and cleaning that is required for this camping season.
Magrath Days represent a time where we all reflect about how our community is growing and to look hopefully into the future. This special video was created to commemorate that endless spirit. From our pioneering roots to the vibrant community we are today, this milestone is a tribute to the people, places, and stories that have shaped our town across generations. Please note that due to Magrath Days, the Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Saturday, July 26. Instead, it will be OPEN on Friday, July 25 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Thank you for your understanding, and enjoy the festivities!
