2020 Magrath Hometown Christmas Announcement

November 25, 2020
With the restrictions put in place across the Province surrounding social gatherings and the safety of our local residents being our primary concern the Magrath Chamber of Commerce with support from the Town will not be hosting a traditional Hometown Christmas event this year. Instead, the Chamber will be conducting a Hometown Christmas Light Contest and the Town is in negotiations with the North Pole to see if Santa is available to reschedule his appearance and be part of a future COVID-19 safe activity before Christmas.

Magrath Days represent a time where we all reflect about how our community is growing and to look hopefully into the future. This special video was created to commemorate that endless spirit. From our pioneering roots to the vibrant community we are today, this milestone is a tribute to the people, places, and stories that have shaped our town across generations. A place where kids can be kids. A place for learning, working, and thriving. A place where community comes first. Whether you were born here, moved here, or just love visiting, this is your story of growing with us too.
